DH has borrowed a clarinet from the daughter of a work colleague to try out. It turned out to be a rather good one rather than the basic student model that was all he'd hoped for, so he wanted a thank-you card...
7" wide, 4 1/4" high. I scored a line just below the top fold. Symphony was stamped on watercolour paper done with wrinkle free distress (old paper, tea dye, tumbled glass) in Versafine Black, and layered onto a metallic copper card. I added some ruffled lace along the bottom. The extra panel was sponged with Antique Linen after masking off the swan, and then coloured with distress inks, plus Liquid Pearls and a clear Sakura Stardust pen for the dragonfly wings. I popped it up on foam and added a sentiment from Picture This. happy-stamper had a card with a sort of spot-lighted panel using this stamp - that inspired me when I was looking through the Symphony gallery.

So great! Lovely colors, love the popped up panel as a focal element, that score at the top was a clever detail and the sentiment could not be more perfect! Into my favs - I want to try this technique of popping out one part of an image. Thanks for the inspiration!
