A little over a year ago for the Mother's Day gifts at church I made owl punch rose corsages and at the time she was just my son's girlfriend but now my future DIL liked them so much that she wanted me to make corsages for the wedding which is in a week. I have finally finished them after remaking two of them.
This one is for the great-grandma and is made with the the SU ornament punch and SU bird punch for the leaves.
Edit: Punch 14 ornament shapes and curl with your bone folder. Punch a 1 1/4" circle and glue by the ornament top on the circle 5 of the ornaments so that the curls just sort of touch each other. Layer the next 4 ornament shapes bending the 'petal' ar the ornament shape top. Repeat with 3 more petals for the next layer. For the center the last two ornament shapes sort of cup each other with the ornament top bent to glue together. Because you can see inside the flower quite easily I covered the glued centers with a large pearl bling. The leaves are 3 SU bird punch bodies that are scored at the tail feather area to represent leaf veins and are glued to the back of the circle. Punch another 1 1/4" circle to cover the leaf base gluing or add a little ribbon and/or bling before adding the second circle to cover your gluing and then you can attach a pin back for the wearer to attach to their clothing.
