Super challenge! I love all things gradient (especially colors). And while I made this card a while ago, it somehow never made it here or onto my blog. I'm sure that never happens to y'all. But it fits today's challenge so...
The images are DRS Designs. I guess the star of this card is the rainbow ink pad I used. I just love my Kpads! It's basically just dry embossing, brayering and rearranging die cut borders. The background was embossed first, then I flipped it over, masked the edges and brayered over the debossed side. It left all the white so the pattern really shows up. I only used half of it so I could add this terrific citrus border across the bottom. After stamping it w/ the same ink, I used a scallop border die to trim the lower edge. I thought the trimmed off (negative) part looked pretty good, too, so I brayered over it, flipped it upside down and tucked under the scallop edge. I added a partial sentiment on a little strip above the scallop and added my cut out lemonade pitcher on top. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
