Judy's challenge today was to use a technique tutorial from Resources to create our own backgrounds.
I chose to try Heated Pearls. And as always, with a fancy background it's hard to cover it all up, so I left as much on show as possible .
A2 black base.
I did the Heated Pearls on black card.
The moon is embossed with Spots and Dots and sponged with Antique Linen.
The rocket is from Pun Fun, coloured with distress inks, and the flame is a Flourish Accent from Spellbinders. I added some galaxies with little silver stars.
This was fun - thank you, Judy!

Sabrina, this is fantastic! I love the colours and texture of the background. I've seen so many new techniques I want to try, but this one tops them all as far as visual impact is concerned!

this turned out awesome. Did you mix your powders with waters and paint them on?

This is different looking, like no other card I've ever seen! You've created a marvelous looking planet with craters and all the trimmings! Very nicely done~
