I used the new Tim Holtz Distress Markers for this!! I would make streaks with the pens on clear cardstock, and then take the waterbrush to the clear cardstock and then paint the sky. I used the pens directly on the balloon and the insects.

They had a spectacular balloon for that first flight....and you have a wonderul watercolored card to celebrate Halloween, Sophie. Your watercoloring is always terrific.

Fantastic card Sophie!!! What a wonderful case! Your clouds and sky are AMAZING!!! Love your balloon too! It must be WAY up there because it looks kinda small compared to Sue's! LOL Really cool card!!! ps Love the French lessons too!
