I made this for Lydia's closing challenge in Splitcoast's Dare to Get Dirty week. I just love vintage phones and that's why these little phone images appealed to me. I've had the sentiment for a long time and I thought it went well w/ all the little telephones. On the left, I stamped the phones w/ different colors of Distress inks and added some of the little numbered dial buttons. The dials on the tiny phones on the right were colored in w/ markers and I used a water brush and scribbled markers to add some paint splatter to these two. For the chevron panel, I stamped it many times and quickly colored them in w/ markers. The 3 circles were die cut. I really wanted some frayed fabric ribbon and couldn't find any the right color in my stash, so I dyed a piece of white bias tape w/ one of the Distress ink pads, dried (carefully) w/ my heat gun and used my distressing tool on the the edges. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
