I haven't had a chance to make cards as my family vacationed last week. Wanted to make a card for my mom as she battles with complications from her failed reconstruction surgeries after breast cancer. She loves to display my cards and this tent card will make that simple! I'm playing along with the CAS challenge to make a tent or easel card CAS 181- Tent Card 7/30/12 by resqbarbie at Splitcoaststampers and this is also for Lydia's DTGD challenge (check out the fun here Forums at Splitcoaststampers) I followed Beate's tutorial and made it CAS. I started with my card base in Whisper White. It is really subtle and hard to photograph, but I stamped the Script bg in Whisper White on the inside of the card. I cut my circle out and cut a larger circle frame for the outside. My Scripture is stamped in Onyx centered in the circle. I punched my flowers from glossy white cs with the MS hydrangea punch and added pearl centers. I punched fronds in Vellum. My dragonfly was stamped in Whisper White onto vellum and embossed with white ep. I added glitter glue to the wings and body.

First of all, I am going to pray for your Mom. I am so sorry she is having complications on top of Breast Cancer. But I know this GORGEOUS card will make her smile! It is stunning! I love the window with the pretty flowers and dragonfly! I see a verse inside about trusting the Lord. This is a beautiful card!!! Love it all and so will your Mom!

Sorry about your mom's battles right now, Gail, so sad, but this awesome card is sure to put a nice big smile upon her face! Wow! It's so beautiful with those pretty flowers and pearls, and what an amazing shiny/glittery dragonfly! Can't see the script on the inside, but I'm sure it's wonderful also~
