So I wanted to make my oldest daughter who just broke up with her longtime boyfriend, a really cool card to lift her spirits, one that totally says, "Shelbie". This is what I came up with--not really a card, but more of a "plaque"--using a few stamps from Verve and my latest obsession--Heidi Swapp's Sugar Chic collection. I used a ton of techniques here, too! I love how this turned out!
Stamps: Happy Days, Accent Notes, Great Friend (Verve)
Paper: Sugar Chic (Heidi Swapp), Vintage Hymnal, Black Chipboard
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), So Saffron (SU!)
Accessories: Wavy Hearts Die Set (a Cut Above Dies by Verve), Labels 8 Nestabilities, Sewing Machine/Thread, Fringe Scissors (Martha Stewart), Paper Doily, UTEE, Heat Gun, Rhinestone Flower, Flower Center Button (Prima), Heart Charm, Linen Thread (TCP), Silver Paint D

Susan, this is absolutely scrumptious! You had me at the bling...then I saw all the other fabulous details. Love the crinkled newsprint border detailing! Must remember that look! Sorry to hear about the dd breakup. Young love is so tough! Beautifully done! Love the "plaque" idea!
