Now at first you might think that I misunderstood this challenge, but trust me. I did not.
I am surrounded by people who treat their dogs like children. My DH threatens our DDs that he's going to put his 'well-behaved' children in the will.
My parents? They won't even stay overnight somewhere because then who would take care of the 'kids.'
My in-laws? They send us pictues of their NEIGHBORS' dogs! No lie. They write on the back about the antics of their 'other grandchildren.'
It drives me crazy some times. I love our dogs as much as the next person but they in no way rank with my children. DH is always telling the dogs to go see 'Momma' and stares at me in disbelief when I habitually correct him and say, 'I am not mother to a dog.' LOL, He thinks I'M crazy! Solid truth.
Any way, I needed a card to send to some friends who just got a second dog--God love 'em! And I didn't even blink at the theme. My friend was thinking about sending out 'We have a new addition to the family' announcements.
Now I know everyone doesn't agree with me so I apologize in advance No hard feelings right? You'll definitely appreciate this card!
Thanks for looking!
Oh PS---I got carried away and forgot the card deets! The purses are paper pieced. The straps are colored with a black glaze gel pen and the buckles are colored with a silver gel pen.

Oh how funny are you, my dear Miss Minx. I certainly do not take offense to this card even tho' my dear sweet Odie is my "other" son - LOL. Yes, I am a mom to both a 2-legged boy AND a 4-legged boy - LOL. I absolutely LOVE your card, and your sense of humor. Thanks for sharing - I will be smiling ALL day long!
P.S. I forgot to add, sometimes I think my 4-legged son is more appreciative - LOL
