This card is for the Virtual Stamping Night challenge, The Road Not Taken/Mirror Images.
I learned a lot from making this card. I've never used this technique before. I was able to get the reverse of the reindeer, but as expected, it needed to be darkened. My mistake was going over the one on the right (the mirror image) BEFORE sponging the background. As a result, the marker ink smeared.
Lesson Learned: Do your mirror image, then stamp the image as the rubber produces it (easier to get it placed perfectly that way). Then sponge the background, and LAST, go over the mirror image, if necessary, with a black marker to darken it.
As a prototype, I like this card and may make more like it, but not smeared! ;-)

Smeared or not, it looks wonderful and the sponging is an excellent effect. This is my favorite use for this technique - getting a stamped image to face the direction I want. Thank you for playing along!
