My 1st card with my brand new "Everything Eleanor" SU stamp set from the new 2012-13 Annual Catty. I was playing around with watercolor misting. I liked stamping the image onto watercolor paper and then softly misting from a distance the best. I then cut out each flower with all, but one having a 2nd cut out flower layer.
I used the new In Colors for my inks and CS. I LOVE the new ink pads and will start replacing my old pads with the new. The new ink pads are a firm foam pad instead of a felt pad. They are are really saturated with ink. Just a light tap gives you full coverage...fabulous with solid stamps. So far I only have the new In Color ink pads.
Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend...

So pretty! Love the technique you used with these flowers - very soft. Great layering of the flowers to give them lots of dimension. Love the paper piercing too!
I agree about the ink pads ... the new type is so much better!

This is beautiful. This is the one stamp set that really caught my eye in the new catalog. You sure did a wonderful job with the flowers. They are beautiful. Thanks for explaining about the new ink pads.

Love what you did with this card. Your watercolor misting technique turned out great, and I LOVE how you layered parts of each flower! Nice choice of colors, too.
