Today's Ways to Use It Challenge (WT372) is to make a monochromatic card (neutrals are ok to add). This card is almost entirely neutrally monochromatic (just a tiny pop of orange) so I think it will fit right in. The images are from DRS Designs.
For my card, I used a variation of a technique I call "into the window". It's sort of a reverse out of the box. I made the window by resizing a Spellbinders long rectangle die to make it just a tad longer. The sentiment was stamped on top of the white frame and my cut out little fisherman was added as well. The scene behind it was stamped on kraft using a combination of the chalk inks, going light to dark, top to bottom. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
