Here is another card for today's sketch challenge. Instead of stamping a straight line, I chose to change it to an diagonal. I stamped the birds (for the long "tab") as they fly past the sun (circle.) Hope it's okay to change it like that?!?
This card is for a fellow Teapotter, Sugar, who is chronically ill. She has recently had compounded illness and needs some encouragement and love from fellow stampers. Sometimes she is so limited as to her strength and endurance that she can make a card for the TPT challenge and mail it, but she doesn't have the energy to add it to her gallery, so no one ever gets to see it. She is oftentimes a "silent" Teapotter. I was happy to make this card for her. I hope it will give her a moment of peace and that she will know that I care.
Stamps: Tim Holtz (birds), DOTS/CTMH (sun), PTI (sentiment)
Paper: Hobby Lobby card base, scrap of white (sun)
Ink: Stazon black, Ranger spiced marmalade, wild honey, broken china, tumbled glass, shabby shutters (just a tiny bit w/the blues for the sky)
Accessories: sponges for inking/distressing, Tim Holtz scissors for fussy cutting
THANK YOU for looking!

I really like your unique take on the design! The way the birds swoop up gives it the look of hope and encouragement, which I'm sure Sugar will appreciate.

Lovely- especially the purpose. Your design and comforting words will be a blessing to Sugar. What a heart she has, Silent Teapotter. And how wonderful of you to bless her back. (((hugs)))
