Both of these challenges were exactly that for me - challenges. I need to practice a lot more to achieve the look I would like with the magic masking for the technique challenge - I certainly like what others have done.
As for the TeaPot challenge - I know nothing about ham radios and did not seem to have anything that worked for a card, but I did find this embossed piece - a wishRAK friend sent me several. (I am not sure of the name, but there are robots!). I thought it was mechanical enough to use - and there is a wrench there LOL!!! Our destination is the husband of a fellow teapotter who is in need of some cheer. I used a technique from a previous week to add his initials (tone on tone faux embossing).
It will be fun looking through both of these galleries - not much time for a couple of days, however.
Thanks hostesses for always great challenges.

I am amazed at all that you got on there for the Teapot challenge! I thought it was a tough one, and you did GREAT! The bg looks awesome too! Way to go on both of those~!

I knew this had to be a TPT card as soon as I spotted the wrench - and your brads. You did well on using lots of browns - much as I love the colour I think I'm going to find that hard. I like this, Dorothy, and I'm sure Charles will too.
