I love this technique.....it's a great alternative to sponging. And I'm all for using old stuff. I remember saying to DH when I first joined SCS:
"It's a really friendly place, but I think some of these women are crazy....they talk about stamps they've never used.....and stamps they're not even sure they HAVE!!!!"
Was I ever that naive?.....LOLOL!!

Jo, leave it to you to take the challenge technique to another level. This is FAB!! First, I love the earth tones and the one white flower...so dramatic....yet soft. Second, your use of the dotted organza ribbon to add, but not detract.

To me this looks like prehistoric paintings/etchings, it's Beautiful!! I love the polka dotted ribbon, it adds a touch of whimsy.
Now what was that about being craft collectors? Isn't there a group for this, you know Craft Collectors Anonymous! I proudly raise my hand! LOL

Yep, them were the old days weren't they Jozi? We are seasoned professionals on the site now or at least I like to think so - LOL! The emboss resist technique worked wonderfully with your card and who can't luv that polka dot ribbon. The flower peeking out from the side is so flowing just like you Jozi!
