I had so much fun with this technique I decided to give it another go! I used Vintage Violet going vertically and Almost Amethys going horizontally. When I had just mounted the image panel onto the card base, my neighbor came over for a minute and told me my pansies were upside down. I don't think I have ever seen pansies in real life, thank goodness she came in or I would have never known, lol!

After turning myself upside down to capture the pansies the other way, I think they would have looked great either way! Lol!!! They are beautifully done! Great job~

And I see we have some contortionists on board... lol. Thanks, Roberta for that image!
That background couldn't be any better for your image - it's perfect. Those pansies are gorgeous, the shading is fantastic. And when I saw that you used Cra-Z-Art pencils, I really did laugh out loud... to keep from crying...
After spending on Copics, well I don't even want to think about how much; and you get this magical effect with a cheap set of pencils! (These were recommended on a thread I read a few days ago - now I'm a believer, and I believe I will have to purchase me a set!)
Fabulous job!
