When I saw the TLC yesterday I really wanted to play along. When the Faux Pressed Flowers tutorial was featured in the Inkling I gave it a try. DH liked the results, but I was never happy enough to make the card front into a proper card and threw it out last time I tidied my desk. So it was great to be able to combine it with the TPT challenge today and achieve a result I was much happier with.
Card is a non-standard size, about 5 x 5 3/4", base is pink Bazzill.
I stamped a Hero Arts flourish in black on some paper I'd used a couple of pink inks and Wrinkle Free Distress on, and then added the flowers and some silver stamens. Embossed with SU Square Lattice, then added silver ink and EP to the edges.
Flourishes sentiment stamped on another scrap of the background paper, punched out with an oval punch and edged in black.
The butterfly was punched from silver glitter card and then sponged with pink alcohol ink to colour it up. I considered adding black or silver half pearls, and then decided that trying to stick things to glitter card is always hard and passed on that idea.

Sabrina this is really pretty. I tried this yesterday and threw it in the trash. Just could not get it to please me. You did a great job. The silver stamens is a great idea. Lovely card.

I love the whole card, but what really caught my eye was the crispness of the stamping of the swirl in the background. Well done! I also love how the front panel looks like fabric.
