Our teaparty today is for the daughter of one of our own teapotters - I Love Rubber. Alix, is Elizabeth's daughter and is in need of some cheer and encouragement as she moves into her new apartment with her fur baby, Dexter. Elizabeth indicates that Alix has a very demanding job as a lawyer and I'm sure this has helped keep her mind occupied during this transition. Therefore, my card is based on her job - does that sound too weird? Well, I hope Alix likes the card.
Thanks for taking a look!

Perfectly suited for this young lawyer. I'm sure it will put a smile on her face.

Great perspective, Kathy - that is usually what takes our minds off our troubles and helps us to focus on moving ahead - - hope your card 's sentiment gets a chuckle from Alix - sometimes you have to wonder if that's not the truth!

I'd say it's perfect Kathy. As you well know being a lawyer is a way of life, it is such an all consuming career. Being able to throw herself into her job has helped her through this trauma. Her first degree was an English degree, so she will appreciate this apropos quote.

Neat, clever card! Like the scale image. Before I read the sentiment I immediately thought about finding balance in life after facing difficult circumstances.
