Last year at this time I packed up about 2/3 of my craftroom. This left me a bit limited so over the last year I bought things as I needed them instead of unpacking. Now this year we really are moving in 7 weeks so now I'm packing up all the new replacements things I filled in the gaps with. You won't believe this but I didn't have anything Paris so I went out and bought this charming Tim Holtz french themed stamp set. Yes I really am insane. I bought a replacement to replace the replacement.
I spritzed white cs with tattered angels spray, stamped in black. Layered some paper and spritzed the seam binding to match the paper, added on the newly bought replacement fleur de lis, and voila.
I wonder how many replacement supplies I will buy over the next 8 weeks. he he he

I'm laughing about your replacement of the replacement. Maybe when it's all said and done and you finally get to unpack all your stamping stuff, you can have a sale of all the replacements!
I love what you have done with your new supplies, Elizabeth! Really love the spritzed pink on the c/s and ribbon against the black and polka dots!! This is sure to tickle any one of us!!

Pretty card in black and pink! Love the polka dots and the bright pink ribbon--so pretty! I have lots of Tim's stamps and love 'em. In fact, I used the same one on my card for the Tickle. I know the feeling of PBO-ing a house--or seven! Seems like my glass/pottery collection dwindled waaaay down after the second or third move! Heehee! Good luck w/packing and your move.

Your comment made me laugh out loud, Elizabeth!! Buying replacements to replace the packed replacement!! Your card is beautiful - what a wonderful stamp set you found and I really like the spritzing on the card. The fleur de lis is lovely on the side!! As always, beautiful and elegant!!

Wow, Elizabeth, I LOVE the way you spritzed dark to lighter, and then the seam binding to match - of course the stamp set is excellent too, but the BG you created for it is amazing!
