Pat was chosen to be the 101st Queen for the Day a few weeks ago. I have always admired Pat's (kokirose's) stitching work on her cards, especially her doodle stitching (I think she has a more elegant name for this technique). This was a good opportunity for me to do what I had planned to do a while ago - try Pat's doodle stitching. As you can see, I need more practise. I still had fun making this card in Pat's honour.

This is such a super tweet Easter card.... Love the paper pieced egg, the punched green dp design and you did a fabulous job with the wandering stitching... I love the effect sewing gives to a card... and it's all about practice, practice, practice... With the wandering stitching it definetly doesn't have to be perfect... Thank you so much for your kind words and taking the time to honour me as Queen 101.
Sending you a great big cyber hug..
Hugs..Pat

How adorable! Love the chick image and your stitching is great. Wish I could find time to practice some stitching...I need a lot before I show my stitching. LOL
