This has been a scrappy month and I decided the only way to get my quota of Christmas cards made in time was to make a batch of four.
A2 matt gold base.
Black paper for layering, red Basic Grey for main layer. I stamped the swirl with Versamark and embossed with Verdigris EP. Added a bit of sponging with Fired Brick to darken the paper a bit, and then stamped with En Francais and Vintage Photo.
Ornament stamped in Versamark on black card and embossed with gold EP. I added gold cord at the back, and fastened them to the card with a gem brad, popping the ornament up with a foam dot.

"This is yet another example of the late neoclassic Baroque period. And, as I always say, 'If it's not Baroque, don't fix it!'" - Cogsworth: Beauty and the Beast
