Copic markers were used to color the image: Y13,15,19, YR23, YR00,02,04
The clouds were created with a sponge and my hand cut template. If youÂ’d like to cut your own template hereÂ’s a direct link to my blog post with the pattern.
The sun was created by punching a 1 ¼” orange circle and ½” yellow circle and attaching to each other with Aleene’s Paper Glaze since it’s a plastic coated glitter paper. Then cut out V shapes. Aleene’s tacky glue was used to attach it to the card.
The waves are blue textured stripes with one cut vertical and the other horizontal.
The green piece was embossed with a Fiskars Braids plate using the Cuttlebug for embossing. Stacking order: A plate, Fiskars plate, 2 tan mats from Spellbinder, B plate.
The little splashes and the faux brads on the wave border are cut from the Sizzix die Scribbles Swirls. They are glued to the card and clear Stickles was applied to the splashes and AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze to the faux brads.
I used the Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting to cut the even borders. Use any brand craft knife for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company site.
For the envelope I made a template for embossing using the wave punch and itÂ’s probably going to be easier to follow along with the photos in my tutorial so if youÂ’re interested click here to find a direct link on my blog.
