Okay - so I'm not brave enough to try quilling. So I *may* have cheated on the assignment for this challenge. But not really.
Because what I did was I used my butterfly die to cut out the petals I stamped, and then I CURLED them with my bone folder to make them 3D! Then I put them on a little matchbox.
So you can't put me in VSN D-hall, Leslie!!

Well, I can't say whether or not you cheated...since I am not a challenge hostess/referee...

I used to teach Physical Science to 9th graders, and I'm pretty sure that this actually qualifies as a "spring" type of simple machine. I don't think an object actually needs to curl in a 360 degree arc to be a "spring."
