Well, the title of my card tells you how I feel about having made it this far... grateful for the opportunity to create. This has been so much fun for me. All the ladies have made such beautiful cards!
This is the last card for the Spring DT search, Challenge 3. It was a beautiful earthy color scheme that Jen chose for us. Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery and Creamy Caramel. Since blue and green are my 2 favorite colors together, I never would have thought that the creamy caramel would have been the dominant color on my card.
I used my blender pens to pick up bashful blue and celery and swipe it accross the background. Then I colored with my markers directly onto the SU Forest Friends tree stamp. After that the card was all about the framing... I lifted the image on dimensionals. I hand cut the rectangle out of the top layer, then used double dimensinals to adhere this top layer. I really wanted it to look framed.
Good luck to all these talented ladies. Thanks again!

How pretty! I like how you used so many layers yet the look is still very CAS. What a wonderful tree image...I {heart} tree images!
