I love Pat's (Kokirose) style - her creations are so warm and heartfelt. Whenever I see stitches on cards, I think of her since she so often includes them. One day, I am going to get a sewing machine and give up my faux sewing! Pat is also the sweetest person -she leaves lots of gallery love all over the place. She was named the QFTD this week so I chose this sweet card to case:
I love the heart, but, alas, I had to go with a square. I adore snowmen and have found the coolest place to find fun snowmen images - Dilly Beans. I found a way to do inchies without having to worry about lining them up - use digital images - it is so easy. I changed: the heart to a square; the colors; the image: more buttons; added some leaves; and included a safety pin.
I am also entering this in the Dilly Beans Designers and Friends Friday challenge - here is the link:

Nancy, this is beyond AMAZING! I adore your textured square paneled images and your stitching looks REAL! I LOVE your button/leaf/twine treatment too. Nancy, you just got it "all". When you go back to work you won't have as much time to do all these cards probably, so I'll enjoy them while I can!
