This card reminds me of the sky we saw on Maui on our last visit, it was dark with a bright opening at sunset and the further down the sun went the better the colors, dark and orange.
For the IC I played from this border. Great find Julie and thanks for the challenge Stephanie!
The background was created with Ranger alcohol inks.
The sun was colored with Copic markers and after cutting it out it was embossed with Ultra Thick embossing powder, also from Ranger. It is mounted on foam tape.
Images: Stampin Up retired Sun Moon and Stars
Paper: Remember When black textured, The Paper Company orange and lavender, Beckett Expressions Iceberg for the image
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black for image, VersaMark for embossing, Ranger alcohol inks
Accessories: unknown star brads, Ranger Ultra Thick embossing powder, orange embossing powder for the envelope, AleeneÂ’s tacky glue for envelopeÂ’s orange border
Love your emerging sun - the alcohol inks worked perfectly for your sky.
