If you've seen kittie747's gallery, you know that she does the most awesome punched flowers. I've been wanting to try them for a while now. After making only five flowers, I'm convinced Kittie has a crazy amount of patience.
My flowers and leaves are punched in white cardstock and tinted with Copics. The leaves are from a punched 5-petal flower that's snipped apart. The center of the rose is a rolled strip, cut from a scalloped oval Nestie. The rose's three base petals are a small flower punch. After spending nearly an hour figuring out how to make the rose, I decided to come up with a variation on my original concept that would require only one of them. ;)
Judi, this is so precious! The tiny rose is adorable and you were so crafty to think out of the box to make it with the scalloped Nestie. The Nature Babies are the most adorable animal images I have ever seen.
