This is my card for Katy. Katy will be the recipient of cards for the Teapot Tuesday challenge and destination station, link here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers . Katy loves camouflage so this is my interpretation! It turned out a bit different than it looked in my head so I hope she likes it!
My main image is a Shy Bear image from an amazing artist at Squigglefly – Lynne Stansbery. The crackled background is a digi from Crafty Anns and with a lot of patience, I combined the images, making bits and pieces of the Shy Bear image transparent. If I did it again, I would do the edges a bit different, but all-in-all, I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out! I wanted lots of the border showing so I made the image to fit.
Combined images and printed. Coloured with prismacolour pencils and blended the colouring of the grass and crackled border using OMS. Sponged the edges of main image and sentiment. Added the silver border sticker and the crystals and popped up the sentiment. No cookies for hearts but I got the pinky colours covered and I think this qualifies for the camouflage. tfl
