I've always loved the birds image from this old SU set, and thought it would work well for Valentine lovebirds. I noticed recently that La Blanche stamps have come out with a larger version of this image. I just might have to get that!
The image was stamped on Vanilla cardstock with Early Espresso and cut out with the nestabilities heart die. Keeping the die in place, I sponged with crumb cake and then colored the image with blender pens. I don't think there are any pink sparrows in nature, but hey, it's a Valentine!
The larger pink (Blushing Bride) heart was embossed with a musical folder and then brayered and sponged with Crumb Cake, with some Early Espresso sponged on the edges.
The Soft Suede layer is stamped with Early Espresso ink using the Pretty Pattern backgrounder, then sponged on the edges with Soft Suede and Early Espresso.
The finished size of this card is 5 1/4 inches square.
