Oh, Kim, I'm so excited for you being selected FS. That should have happened ages ago. Your gallery is beautiful.
I took this feminine and elegant card and turned it into a textured collage b/g. I don't do collages or distressed very well, so please forgive me. But, I tried.
I notice you do have some beautiful collage cards on your site, so I thought this was fitting with your taste also.
I sprayed the Clear Textured Spray on the white cardstock panel, dried with a heat gun, then rubbed Distressed Inks (about 4 colors) across the panel. I then stamped a variety of hearts over it using cherry cobbler. You can't see it as much as I would have liked to, but you can see them here and there. I white embossed the sentiment, clear embossed the 2 main hearts and added a tag with twine along with a wood heart hanging from red thread.
AudreyAnn and I tackled this technique together this w/end. She remembered what to do. Although, this isn't exactly what I had in mind for this card, it has to do as my anniversary is this week and I don't have a card - YIKES!
Thanks for taking a look and enjoy your week Kim!

I need you to come show me how to do that Texturized Spray thing - I don't even know what Textured Spray is - I feel like I missed a class or something. This is so cool! I am proud of you Sis! I have missed your cardz - my spy camera isn't working too well these dayz. Hugz!

What a wonderful, awesome card!! I don't see you that much on SC, but when I do, I feel like I am running into a long time friend. You always seem so happy and so positive. You really exude love. And your cards... well, they show all this as well. Thanks for giving me a preview of another thing I need to learn. I think I'll favorite you, so I can check back. Thanks so much for playing Pam, and adding your joy to mine. Hugs, Kim :>)

I really like this card! It is so modern-looking yet it has a touch of whimsy and country with the wooden heart on a string. I also like the fact that the two top hearts are placed in such a way that they extend the borders of the card. Well done!
