We ALL need a little help every once in awhile. Just don't be afraid to ask for it.
Stef, what a fabulous site to close out the year with. WOWZERS big time! I saved many but chose only this one to be inspired by today......details...
Did a combo of sketching and stamping on this one. The birdies are from Plum Purdy and the tree Mutnik's pen.
Coloring was done with copics and Bic markers in a way that would hopefully resemble embroidery stitches. Love the look of embroidery but I for the life of me cannot do hand stitching. I end up with too many knots! hehe Now give me a sewing machine and I can applique like nobody's business.....or at least I use to be able too. Easier to just do the "faux" stuff....again hehe
Well, must close do my year end close out of books. Will return later to comment. Have a fun and very safe night!......TFL :0)

OMG, I LOVE this, it is so funny and cute! Poor wee bird! Quite the predicament for him to find himself in...he'll definetly need a helping 'wing'. Wonderful. TFS. : )
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!

What a great card Cathy!! You made me laugh out loud. And you took yours literally today too. I thought of you as I free handed my card today - I don't much do that. I hope you have a wonderful new year.

You never cease to amaze me how you combine freehand and stamping so effortlessly (at least I don't see any drops of blood, sweat or tears!) So darn cute!!!

I love this , Cathy!! It makes me think of the birds that are fledging and don't make it on the first try, or they've been eating too many berries and just cannot hang on any longer!! What a cute scene!! Happy New Year!!
