Today we were to put a dress on our card. Wasn't sure if I even had a dress stamp, so in between pools I did a ruff sketch of what I hope to put to paper when I got home. This would be much quicker then digging through all my stamps just to get started. hehe
We also have a new Queen today. It is Miss Boo. Jen you have a fabulous fun gallery. Enjoyed browsing through it. I chose this one to loosely case. Loved her snowman, but needed a dress so I changed the image. hehe
For my dress, I chose to make a paper doll dress. I remember back in the day, my sister would design these way cool dresses for her paper dolls. Should have had her design this one. hehe....brief card details....
Put a piece of metal repair tape on a panel of white card stock. Made a frame for it from scraps of white cs the I put pad to paper to color.
Stamped a Judith flower stub for the wall paper coloring with bic markers. Then I versamarked and clear ep'd them so I could sponge on sunshine yellow. Added a base board.
On separate cs, sketched the dress, colored with bic markers, cut out and put on the hanger in front of the mirror. Put this on a white card doodling edges.
Well, sorry for the long write up, just had a cup of Joe! hehe........have a great weekend! TFL :0)

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just cut us out a paper dress and be good to go! But then I always worried about the backside of those paper dolls. It's kind of like those hospital gowns I suppose. Cute card.

Cathy, you are an artist! I love the sketch and the finished product. Paper dolls was my passion as a child and I used anything I could find. Thanks for taking me back.
