It's been awhile since I've done a challenge but I thought I'd jump back in with this sketch challenge. I'm making thank you's for holiday gifts and these are the two cards that I've come up with so far. I will say that I'm very disappointed with the snowflake lace die from TCP. I ran it through my Cuttlebug at least 15 times (changing direction each time) with different sandwiches and it still did not cut the snowflakes in the center of the die. I ended up hacking at them with my knife. If anyone has any ideas on how to get the die to work more successfully, I'd love to hear them! It's such a neat die, I just wish that I could figure out how to make it work.
A few notes about the card, I used Dazzling Details to add some sparkle to the buttons on the snowmen and to the sentiment and I sponged the edges of the white card stock. Not sure how well those show up in the picture.

I like both this, think I prefer the landscape one marginally, though I really like the irregular edging of the snow circle that comes across more in the portrait one. Bummer about the die - it's so frustrating when you get one that just won't cut properly. I feel like that about my Memory Box snow border. Hope you find an answer!

Very cute snowmen thank yous! You can buy a thin metal plate to put under the die in your 'sandwich' and that will make it cut all the pieces... Papertrey Ink has one, I think Ellen Hutson has one, My Favorite things may have one too..... hope that helps!

I love the snowmen together. That stamp shows such a nice message of giving. Beautiful cards.
