To celebrate the 200th challenge Crafty Secrets has challenged us to use glitter. I'm not too happy with this but I'm posting it anyway. I liked the red rose but everything I did after that to add glitter just detracted from what could have been a pretty card. Anyway it's as it is. The image was coloured with copics and red glitter added to the deeper red parts. I added red glitter swirls to the bg paper with a glue pen. It doesn't show in the photo but the die cut snowflakes are glittered as well. It's finished off with a red velvet bow.

Just gorgeous! It's so difficult to showcase anything sparkly in a photo but I'm sure it's AMAZING in real life! Beautiful coloring, cutting and design! Way to go girl!!! Thanks for joining in and sharing inspiration!!

Elizabeth,
What a gorgeous rose - and colored beautifully! I really like the BG you created with the sparkly swirls - it's very pretty and elegant. Your lovely snowflakes glitter as well! Beautiful card!!

Elizabeth this card is gorgeous, the way you painted the rose makes it look like velvet petals. The only thing I thought was it might show off more if the background was another color like black, i bet your snowflake, bow and rose would pop.
