This page was made for the December Creative Crew scrapbook challenge. My color combo is Lucky Limeade + Rose Red + Island Indigo + Concord Crush.
I was looking through my pictures and when I saw this pic of me taken in front of center stage at the 2009 convention, I thought the colors matched my color scheme perfectly! I always do a cover page for my scrapbook albums and this will be the one for my convention album. I knew I wanted to mimick the blocks for my title, so I stamped some patterns on the cardstock blocks, rounded the corners with my punch and stamped the words using alphabet sets and my Stamp-a-Ma-Jig (very important!). The letters were white-embossed so that they'd stand out more, and I added mini silver brads on each side of the words. I have to say, I just got the Spencerian Lower Alphabet and it was my first time using it and I love its look!
Another new tool I used was my flower die. I stacked four die-cut flowers, curled the petals up and added a white-embossed flower from the baroque Motifs set. I used the flourish on the page corner. I hadn't used this set in ages and was inspired to get it out again. On top of the flourish, I sponged some Champagne Mist shimmer paint using the Mostly Vintage stencil. I also wheeled the bottom of the page with the Very Vintage wheel.
The scallop border and numbers were die-cut out of silver glimmer paper. I added a ribbon bow made out of Rose Red seam binding and hung a key charm from the bow. I added polka dot brads on both sides of the pictures and stacked buttons in the center of my flower, and rhinestones on the sponged image and the scallop edge.
I hope you like it!! TFL!

This is fantastic! The way 'create' turned out is wonderful with those spencarian letters, aren't they! (so sad they are retiring all these alphabets!)
