The IC challenge this week is to be inspired by the Singing Cat Studio. Wow! Inspiration galore! I was inspired by this Mixed Media Pendant and others like it
Gorgeous, gorgeous jewelry. What fun to just look at.
I started my card with a piece of CS that I ran through the Cuttlebug in an embossing folder that I had inked on one side. Figuring out which side I want inked is usually the hard part and I end up with several embossed pieces that I can't bear to pitch. :(
After embossing, I glued it onto a piece of brown CS and stamped Old French Writing on the top. Next I added the flower that was build with Primas, a small piece of crocheted lace that was an RAK from lacyquilter - thank you thank you - and a brad.
Then I added the Adornments fiber, bird charm and second brad. The sentiment is computer generated and popped up with dimentionals. I like it. I do. I do.

Awesome job capturing the feel of the mixed media, embossed pieces on the inspiration site! Love your inked embossing with the print and your cool fibers and brads.

Since going through your gallery to do a QFTD card - I've started watching for your cards in the gallery. I really, really like your gallery - filled with so many beautiful cards. What a great job using your inspiration piece - this is just lovely - the embossing is an awesome background for this piece.

Wonderful case of the pendant you chose! (Was one of my 20 choices, as well--what's new, huh?!) The emb and ink looks great, you brought the color in w/your flower, the swirly brad is cool, the bird charm looks super. And that ribbon/fiber w/the sparkle looks awesome! Love this card!
