Since the Super Bowl is right around the corner, I figured I would do our Patriots send off photos. This was a cool & cold day, but very exciting. My journaling reads as follow:
The Road to Jacksonville
We wanted to go to Foxboro Stadium to see the New England Patriots off to Jacksonville. What we experienced there I never would have imagined. It was a very cold day in late January. We wore over our regular clothes our snow gear. Even that wasnÂ’t warm enough for us. Dunkin Donuts was there to give out free hot chocolate to everyone. There were approximately 3,500 people there freezing and enjoying the day. The excitement was something I had never seen. It was a day to remember.
The pictures on the left page are as follows:
Kyle, Nicholas and a Patriot
The “FAN”atic
The Lighthouse of Gillette Stadium
And, the line of Patriots
On this page the photos are:
Line of Patriots getting ready to shoot their guns
The family with our sign that reads: I know itÂ’s illegal to hurt an Eagle, but not this one. (Freddy Mitchell of the Eagles)
The banner “Go Patriots” above the send off stage
