This is the fourth project I made for the November Creative Crew challenges.
I am really excited about how this one turned out! I have had those pictures printed for years and could never find the inspiration to scrapbook them, but I'm glad I waited because the Pocketful of Posies papers paired up beautifully with them. I especially like how the paper I used to make the pocket looks like beehives, which is perfect since Tori's tour was for the album The Beekeeper! I handcut the bottom of the paper following the hexagonal shapes and added a row of brads in various repeating colours in the center of the bottom row.
The date was die-cut using the Simple Numbers dies and the title was stamped on a striped of Wisteria Wonder DSP with the Empire Alphabet (isn't it pretty?). For the first letter, I used the Letter It alphabet set and glued the monogram on one of the big Spice Cake buttons.
The top of the pocket was punched with the Scallop Edge punch and I simple scored a line half an inch lower and turned the border around to show the backside of the paper. I weaved a ribbon through, added pearls in between and in the pocket, I slipped the show tickets (which you can see me holding excitedly in the picture above!) and a tag on which I included my journaling on one side and the set list on the other.
The rest of the title was die-cut with the Timeless Type dies and decorated with brads and buttons. I also added Dazzling Details on the paper's drops.
I hope you like it! TFL!
