Wendy's great challenge today...to show the person's character or likes on the card. I made a card for our second son who will be celebrating his birthday in October. From a little boy on he was obsessed with farm machinery. He would go to the farm equipment store with his Grandpa and always come home with a new toy. He grew up to handle this equipment with ease. To this day he comes to help on the farm often. If there's a chore to do with the tractor he's more than willing to do it. The great thing about him coming to the farm is that he brings our two granddaughters along. So today I made a very simple card with his favorite things....John Deere tractors. I used an image from the web, and colored with copics, and computer generated the sentiment. I ran an eb over just the tractor. tfl

Way cool, Linda! I love the great colors and touches you add. Your coloring just POPS and that folder just gives that extra little detail and texture. He'll love this, I'm sure (maybe not as much as John Deeres, but who knows!!!

What a meaningful card for your son. I'm thinking he will love it. Like the way you used that embossing folder.

Linda, it's incredible!! So, so cute and so, so personal - love your green brads and fun sentiment - your coloring is so vivid and the embossing - I love it, yet it's something I'm scared to try - afraid I'll mess it up after all the work of coloring - you've shown me to go ahead and go for it!
