Pretty cool teapot in the Teapot Challenge this week! My resident referee let me borrow his whistle to trace for my card. I was going to put the real whistle into the picture but it was kind of gross. Those whistles are expensive too! Not your typical playground whistle.

Love the whistle. I have some of those brads......why didn't I remember I had them! You still have a great memory, Lorraine! Love your card!

Love your card and the whistle is awesome. Your are right - they are expensive. I think DH said his first year he made no money b/c of all the items he had to buy! But he didn't care.
Wonderful card and I'm so glad you played along and thought of him. That makes me smile.

I think your whistle silhouette is probably a whole lot more effective than a real whistle visually. And just think, the weight of a real one would pull the card over all the time. Those brads are just darling. It was only after I'd stamped my fishes that I remembered I had some little fishy buttons, and some wooden ones too...

I sure do love the colorful fish brads, the whistle and the referee stripes!! I had my whistle out, but didn't think of tracing it, there's another duh moment for me!
