Hmm - challenging challenge this week at the tea-party. I had to check the gallery first for ideas, and thought that I could manage a lizard, and possible hydrangea. But there seem to be plenty of hydrangeas on their way to Sharon and they're not my favourite flower. So I pulled out my Serendipity pottery stamp .
A2 cream base. Orange Bazzill, blue paper from Sizzix Little Sizzles. Image stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks. I punched the corners with my Southwest corner punch, and added some Liquid Pearls to the bare twigs so that at least I'm sending some flowers. I found some square brads in good colours, so I added them in a border along the bottom, with black Enamel Accents linking them.
If there's any spare warm weather going you can send it here - after our Indian summer last week it's cold up in my attic again this morning, and I had to and change out of my cropped jeans and into something I could wear socks with...

The southwest pots as well as the corners and brads all coordinate so well! The colors you chose are wonderful! I love the direction this card took you and I gotta feeling Sharon is gonna love it too! The turquoise sets the little frame off perfect! You did good!

Love your card. Like the square brads set on the corners and the little buds. Sorry, but I'm not sharing our warmth, though it is supposed to drop to the 90s this week.

I don't see a challenge for you, but I know what you mean, I see a beauty. The colors are gorgeous and I love the square brads. Sharon will see the beauty in this too.

So how is it that a fair Irish Colleen has a southwestern pottery stamp and stamps in this style with great aplomb, yet a North American from Vancouver wimps out with a flower?
