Yes, I'm showing my age, I grew up in the 80's. The inside says "Relax!" This is for my mother, who fell over a fire pit last weekend while camping in CT. She got an ambulance ride, an ER visit and 36 stitches (9 on the inside). This is is a get well card for her, thus I didn't use Halloween paper. Plus I got her the cute Halloween bag from Bath & Body Works.
Since my dad gets woozy from blood, I get to change her bandage, the wound is quite impressive. But it has not slowed down my Energizer bunny mother, she is still keeping a full schedule, so she prabably won't relax, but I try.
The "scar" is half a cricut railroad track that I found on my desk while making the card. I bought this cute guy yesterday for the purpose of making a card from my mom. I've been calling her Frankenstein. The sentiment came to me as I worked.
I've had my eye on this sketch for a while. I works perfectly for the Free for all challenge of using patterned paper color blocks. Thanks for the fun challenge Dawn & Thanks to Roxie for all those sketches, otherwise I doubt I could make a card!

Oh wow! That is a TERRIBLE story...but I'm so glad your mom has such a faithful daughter to tend to her. You card is humorous...and will certainly make her smile. Now, I hope not laugh b/c I wouldn't want her to bust a stitch!

Elizabeth I love the card and you are great at taking care of what needs to be done. To all those who posted a comment it is healing slowly, but healing.
