I made this for todays sketch challenge #352, but also for my friend Gina who is having a birthday on Tuesday.
Her favorite color is pink, so I used at first pixie pink, but after I found the dsp, I realized that pink wasn't going to work so I changed the base to pink pirouette.
My mat's are certain celery. I'm not sure which dsp this is from SU, but I saw the pattern, and realized this different sheet matched I just thought to cut it out. I thought it looked cool. But since the sketch required a circle, I added one behind the flower which really draws your eye to the flower.
I really had no idea which set I was going to use until I came across this one. I haven't used this in a very long time, but I think the shape of the flower goes well with the flowers on the dsp.
My friend really likes bling too, so I added some glitter gel to the light parts of the flowers then added the faux diamonds on the upper part of the card.
tfl and have a great day!
