This is my first inspiration challenge and I loved the purple cupcakes Stef posted by the Creative Cake Academy. I'm not sure that my card looks anything like a purple cupcake, but those pics gave me the "get up and go" I needed. I was also inspired earlier in the week by a card made by Gem35 who used a small window in in one of her cards: One Last Summer Card by Gem35 at Splitcoaststampers
(I hope I posted that right).
The card was quick and easy. I used SU's stamp set Frame it and cut the Frame out with my snippers. I added a bravo burgandy "mat" on the inside edges. Then I used double stacked dimensionals on the picture frame and single dimensionals on the flowers. The sentiment is just stamped on the base cardstock. It gives it a lot of texture in real life.
Lots of fun!
Thanks for looking!
Carrie

What a beautiful card! I love how you made the frame 3-D and especially how you added the burgundy mat on the inside of the frame. I think I'll add that stamp set to my wish list, and I'll add your card to my favourites!
