Our second challenge for the September release over at Flourishes is a sketch challenge. I am definitely out of my comfort zone combining patterned papers, however, that's what I took on for this challenge. Hence the title "Out on a Limb".
I used patterned paper and to coordinate the image panel and the bg turquoise panel I made my own bg paper. I've been trying to create as much bg paper as possible these days. The three hearts were embossed and the bg paper is a damask stamp. All paper edges are sponged with walnut stain. I didn't want to cover the flowers with a sentiment so I used velum to partially see through.

Okay, Elizabeth, you've done it again!! The card is absolutely gorgeous - and doesn't appear to be out of your comfort zone whatsoever! The DP you made is just lovely, your embossed hearts are beautiful, the vellum is a perfect touch and that blue flower is amazing!
