I had so much fun doing this card. I was supposed to use mixed mediums for it's making. I chose direct to paper coverage with Distressed Inks, then overstamping with same colors with a foliage branch, next I did a dry emboss design with the Autumn Cuttlebug folder and then swiped with brown ink to enhance the design. I mounted this onto a orange card base and then added the flowers and saying in which the leaves on the saying were painted in with the Inspiration Paints. Those paints have a shimmer to them, but it does not always show up too well in a photo. On the flowers I added some permanent marker orange ink to make them look more colorful too. All stamps are from GinaK Designs.

Your fall colours are just gorgeous. I love all the inking, it's just a cool effect. I am still learning to do it myself. Your dry emboss is perfection, it atually looks like a background text stamp. Wonderful job. I get frustrated with shimmer and such too, it never photographs as well as IRL.

This is a glorious card and really reflective of the colours of the season! I appreciate the detail you give in your description too. I haven't ventured into mixed media but this is might get me into it!
