I made these to go with 2 bottles of Jack Daniels that I gave my brother-in-law for his birthday. One tag booklet contains Jack drink recipes, and the other contains recipes for glazes, sauces, etc. that are made with Jack. I used the Hot Technique to make the paper, and I made him a matching birthday card.

That's so pretty! What's the 'Hot Technique?"

The Hot Technique is where you melt tissue paper onto your cardstock. You take decorated tissue paper (or do it yourself like I did) and cling wrap. You place your cardstock on the bottom, the cling wrap on top of it, then your tissue paper on top of that. Place a piece of parchment paper over the tissue paper and iron until it has all melted onto your cardstock.

I just found these - what a great idea! The tags turned out great and i like the two different "recipe" tags. I'll have to give the Hot Technique a try
