Vanessa, my 8 year-old daughter, made this to give to her teacher on the first day of school.
We know Vanessa's new teacher and she has a sense of humor and she also loves coffee. So Vanessa wrote, "Ha, Ha! We're Back!" which she meant to be ominous in a funny way.
Diamond glaze was painted on.

Wow, Vanessa!! You are well on your way to becoming a "card queen" if you are creating these hilarious cards already!! I see Mom has taught you quite a few of the tricks she has up her sleeve - you already know how to do a great job embossing and embellishing - now we are adding the fancy touches like diamond glaze - this is an awesome card for your teacher - wonder if she got scared when she read it - We're BAAA-AACK! HAHA! Way cool, Vanessa!!

Oh Miss Vanessa, I love your card, and your wonderful sense of humor! Ha-ha we're back! Did your teacher smile? Of course she did- she got to see you! And, she must feel lucky to have such a sweet girl in her class too. Your card is great. I love your coloring and design and those flowers. How cool that you used Crystal Effects on the cup and little pot. I really like those blingy earrings too. Fabulous job Missy! Keep it up, I love to see your work. (Pssst...now, go hug your mom a good one for me, k?) Love you!

Vanessa, what a fun card to give to your teacher. I am sure it made her giggle on her most stressful day back to school. I hope she keeps it on her desk so she can keep smiling all year long. You have your mom's sense of humor and that is certainly a compliment. Keep up the card making, you are a natural.
