Yes, it's about time!! I designed this background MONTHS ago and it just didn't look right with the image I had planned to put with it. I tossed the background to the side for a while and finally decided to make it work with SOMETHING. After MUCH trial and error, this is what I came up with. For the background I used the emboss resist method. If I remember correctly, I stamped on So Saffron using this JudiKins paisley stamp with versamark. Then heat embossed with clear ep that has glitter in it. THEN, sponged so saffron ink towards the center, pumpkin pie further out and chocolate chip on the edges and corners. WHEW! Also stamped the background stamp on the chocolate chip paper used as the base of the card AND the flower layer and scalloped circle layer. I was stumped as to what to do next. I checked out SCS for some inspiration and saw that many of you used a tag under your main image. BINGO! I decided that would be a good idea (thanks, you guys!) Used my new set from SU (boy, I really like that set)....Sweet Summer. I just can't seem to refrain from using flower and flourishes, so added some spellbinder flourishes to the corner. Topped it off with a couple of butterflies using my MS punch. Since I have also been sorting through and organizing my mountains of embellishments, I discovered this little sunflower I had made using shrink plastic..who knows when...and decided it would be ideal to add to ths card. TFL and have a great day!
