Im just under the gun , but I wanted to case one of Carolyn's cards...there wer so many neat ones , with great embossing and neat layers, a lovely gallery so hard to choose. kept going back. finally I saw the tri shutter card ...here is hers.TLC221 Friend by snowmanqueen at Splitcoaststampers I have never done one before, so I thought I would give it a try. Carolyn's is so pretty and I thought for my son hes into the classic games a lot so I wanted to do a mario character type of a card....wowzers....I started bits a pieces 2 days ago and his b-day is this morning...lol made it tho...lol.
It took more time tho becasue I had no papers I liked for this so I made my own bg paper by spongin orange, red and brown then drew on the bricks. the characters I drew and then cute them all out. Mario was carrying a turtle so I switched that to a dollar store b-day cake and cut it out.
Did all the cutting and pasting, and added the trees, flag and stuck on the pennies for their coins to collect. all the characters and scenerey I used those sticky dots to raise them up.
Cannot get the fold to sit quite right I dont think cause then the pennies make it fall..lol...but got it ok. then also made a little pocket for his present that he wanted..."a crisp 100.00 dollar bill...lol...the color even blends in so i chuckled at that..see if he notices it...lol...like a teen wouldnt..lol.
thanks for visiting...and congrats Carolyn I am glad I got to share this with you...:0)

Fantastic card, you are so talented to draw the characters. The sponging, papers, coins - all look so good together. Your son has an awesome mom to make him such a great card! Thanks for playing, I feel honored to be cased.
